The Manifesto project is a curation of an exhibition which requires a carefully constructed narrative that ties the selected collection of installations and art pieces together as a coherent whole, creating a themed exhibition space. The site provided is the Centre for Contemporary Art, Singapore (NTU CCA), situated on the old Gillman Barracks site (1936).

A collection of exhibition objects were carefully selected to match the theme "The Irreversible Cycle: Life and Death". These objects were then used to curate the exhibition in the most ideal manner, allowing visitors to be immersed in its theme.

PROPOSED
CIRCULATION

PROPOSED
LAYOUT PLAN
The exhibition was curated such that visitors experience the theme, “The Irreversible Cycle: Life and Death”. Starting off with the concept of Birth, the usual routine of a life and ending off with Death or vice versa.
Entering the space, visitors will encounter 2 routes (White: Birth/Black: Death) which gives them the option to select the cycle to begin with. By exiting the exhibition space, the visitor thus, either start or end their life cycle in the exhibition, starting afresh to a new life cycle after exiting.
